First make sure it is in your path.  Just type 'rrdtool'.  If it is not,
add the directory containing rrdtool to your PATH environment variable in
.bashrc (or equivalent startup script for other shells).  If it is in your
path, then take a deeper look at the Hypertable.Master.log file and see if
it is printing anymore information about what might be causing rrdtool to
fail (e.g. dynamic link issue).
