The program, labeled LeakTest, identifies itself to firewalls by McAfee.com, Symantec, Sygate, and others as a "trusted" application, gaining virtually unrestricted access to a PC's Internet connection. The one major firewall maker that did not fail Gibson's test was ZoneAlarm.
