I am working on a XIM server for Bengali using IMdkit. But the problem is when I create text property using Xutf8TextListToTextProperty and commit it to the client, the client doesn't recognize the utf8 encoding and treats it as ascii-8. My locale is set to utf8. Can anyone please give me some pointers?? BTW, i am testing this on KDE.
