And, needless to say, it works!  This is it!  This indeed fixes the
problem!  Thank you so much for your help again, Ishikawa-san!  (And
many thanks to Rigel for your fix!  :-)

(Note to fellow XFree86 package maintainers: yes, you'll need this
patch too, although the problem hasn't manifested itself because you
use the "freetype" module.  Just in case the user wants to play with
the "xtt" module.  :-)

Just out of curiosity, has this fix been applied to Debian yet?  :-)
