Hello,

I am still working on the design of my French Dvorak keyboard.
I wish to asy you a question about the "digit" keys in the upper row
of the keyboard.

The original author insists that it is more ergonomic to have symbols
be immediately accessible on those keys, and to use shift to access
digits. This is a peculiarity of the original (AZERTY) keyboard
layout.

I myself don't quite agree. I feel that the digits should be
immediately accessible. Both of us seem to be stubborn enough
that we should seek the best solution for this problem.

I'd like to hawe your opinion on that question, and if such information
exists, I'd like to know about any factual information which could
back either opinion.

Thanks a lot,
