I am using URxvt but had to post in appreciation. I just tried this patch... Excellent! Now I can set some nice wallpaper and have URxvt transparency without the "bars" thing. Awesome. I am pretty much addicted to i3 now, everything else simply doesn't feel right anymore :) Thanks for such a cool WM! James
