------------------ ARTICLE START ------------------

Anyone can learn how to do article marketing. Article marketing is a powerful
way to drive traffic to a website. Articles give a site high rankings in search
result. The higher a site ranks are; the more traffic it gets. With a large
amount of traffic this is an opportunity for massive profits, not only now, but
in the future as well.

A nicely written article will catch the attention of your customers and they
will continue to come back to your site, and will recommend your site to others.

What is article marketing and can I learn how to do article marketing? The
general gist of it is for you to write several articles that are
keyword-optimized that relate to your business. The more articles that you
write about your business, the better. Then post them on your website and on
article directories and allow other webmasters to reprint your articles or
their sites, newsletter or ezines, for free.

An article should be centered on your keywords and keyword phrases. You will
basically have two types of visitors. The first type of visitor is just
browsing, the other type of visitor is actually looking for something specific,
and the visitor looking for something specific is more likely they are to buy
as opposed to the person just browsing.

You can tell the difference in the two by what they type into the search engine
when they begin looking for that specific item.
The person looking for something specific will type in something like "games to
play at a baby shower" where as the visitor just browsing will type in "baby
shower." So here's the deal, you need to find out what they are typing in and
use that phrase as the title of your article, as well as sprinkling those words
through out your article, the general rule is no more than one time per 100
words, so if your article is 500 words, then you keyword(s) should be in your
article about 5 times.

The next questions is how do I find out what they are typing in? Great
question, and for simplicity sake, I am going to give you a free resource which
is google's very own keyword tool. There are numerous good resources out there
that you can pay for, however for our demonstration, I am giving you the
freebie, and actually I use it all the time, and I am satisfied.
The important thing is that you have an article that has the keywords that are
related to your site. For example, if your site is about baby showers, then you
must have articles about baby showers.

Once you have several ideas for articles, it is time to start writing! The most
important thing to keep in mind when you write is that the articles are for
your website and for distribution, and not for selling. Some article
directories will reject your articles if they sound like you are trying to sell
something.
