The Wedding DJ and entertainment industry in San Diego is as diverse and
interesting as the city itself. From well paid and sought after professionals,
to inexpensive but festive party DJ's you have tons of variety to choose from.
One would be wise to meet with a Disk Jockey before booking them in this area,
as it is such a popular area with tons of competition you don't want to just
book the most advertised off the bat right? Make sure you are getting what you
really want for the entertainment of your wedding reception and ceremony.

Disk Jockey companies that have a title to their name like "blank"
entertainment will often multiple employees working for them so you are going
to want to make sure that the DJ you met with is actually going to be the Disk
Jockey at your wedding reception. Furthermore, there is some benefits to these
companies; security. You can feel secure that you are going to have a DJ at
your wedding. When you a hire an independent or one man operation you are not
compensating for error. What if the DJ you have hired for your special day
became sick, or had vehicle issues, or was in an accident? If you were forced
to find a last minute DJ your options would be very limited and you would not
have the information and relationship that you have built with your previously
hired entertainer leaving much room for error.

On the contrary independents and one man operations can often be some of the
best and most referred DJ's but their price will reflect. This is due to a
very simple business model. An independent can only make money by their self
and can not have several DJ's working throughout the county to earn income for
their business. So what do you get? An extremely high priced but seasoned
independent DJ. Companies will offer a lower price and have a variety of DJ's,
but the con to his scenario is that some of those DJ's are going to be
experienced and professional whereas some of the DJ's will be far from that,
possibly even complete newbies to the Wedding DJ situation.

The Wedding industry in San Diego is amazing and thorough. You can choose from
thousands of breath-taking venues, with some amazing catering, photogenic
ceremonies and beautiful weather. The list goes on and on about what kind of
wedding one is capable of having in this beautiful city in Southern California.
There are also a lot of Spanish weddings and Spanish speaking DJ's due to it's
southern region. If you are interested in having some announcements made you
might want to make sure that you have covered these bases with your DJ and that
they are competent Spanish speakers. An alternative would be to have a family
member make the announcement in Spanish, which can be fun for the guests as
well. You also won't risk the DJ not being knowledgeable of American music
which is a fear when hiring a Spanish speaking DJ.

With this information you should be able to plan your Wedding reception and
ceremony with great entertainment. Be sure to find someone who is an
experienced MC or Master of Ceremonies as well as a proficient Wedding DJ.
Enjoy your San Diego Wedding!
