Okay so you want to try the shooter games. Be warned though, shooter games can
cut your nerves pretty quickly or can raise your adrenaline to high levels
depending of how deep do you get into a game.

Shooter games can be a lot of fun if you like guns and action. Usually the goal
is to blast the opponent or opponents with lots of different weapons which can
range from pistols, machine guns, rocket launchers, laser weapons, and many
more. Also there are different kinds of shooter games, going from one on one
equal matches, trough shooting headless zombies, to an airplane dog fight with
rockets and such. Some have the elements of the rpg but are not the real rpg
games. So you will be able to upgrade your health and/or weapons and other
statistics, but they usually do not have the complexity of the RPG which is
what differentiates them from RPG's and are more focused on raising adrenaline
and lots of quick action instead of just focusing on the statistics and letting
you sit peacefully.

There are also multiplayer shooter games which you can play on one computer or
on more computers. One of the fun multiplayer games that you can play on one
computer is boxhead for example, and there are plenty more flash shooter games.

Some of the shooter games however might require you to shoot more precisely and
develop your precision. In any case shooting games will help you develop these
abilities/skills: - precision - speed - coordination - timing - concentration

Depending on the type of game some or all of these skills will be taken into
the consideration when obtaining scores/passing the game. Usually you will have
speed and precision developed or needed within a shooter game. So keep your
eyes open and your reflexes sharp.

There are also standalone and flash shooter games. Standalone games can be
pretty expensive and large in terms of disk space required and might require
you to install them before you can play them. Also lot of new ones require a
new graphics card. So if you don't have those and don't have the patience to
install them or money to buy them, you can try out online flash games.

The advantage of flash shooting games over the standalone games is that they
are free to play, quick to load (usually very small in size), there is no need
to download and install the game (apart from installing the macromedia flash
player) etc. And if you want to play another flash game you can quickly switch
to another one.

If you want to try some shooter games just go on and try to play some, there
are lots of shooter games available and they are all free to play.
