In the world of online marketing there are thousands of ways to sell informational products. You can build your own e-book from the ground up, market it and keep all the profits. You can also buy someone else's book, change it and make it your own. This is called Private Label Rights. The last choice you have is to buy a product and sell it as an affiliate. There are tons of advantages to the internet marketer for each method. Let your budget be your guide in most cases, but keep the rules in mind for whichever route you choose to make money online. When you write something yourself, you own the rights to that material. Every word you put in it, the sentence structure and everything it says, is your work. These types of books are fairly popular since they allow the new owner to build a client list off of someone else's work. You will typically find these kinds of packages in 'Quick Start Guides' to wealth programs. Some private label right- programs are pretty popular, the only issue is, if you buy something and change it, offer it to a whole bunch of customers and sell it like crazy, there may be fifty thousand versions of it in other places and customers can end up getting the same information from fifty different places. I'm sure you would hate to pay $40 for an e-book only to find out that it's the same book you've already bought from another website. This can cause returns and refund requests from what would have been otherwise happy customers. In summary, the best option is to copy what others are already doing in their online marketing efforts. You can write something similar to another product that you've purchased, whether you have the rights or not, there is no restriction for doing something similar. You can offer this similar product to customers at a discounted price, you can duplicate the marketing efforts of the program you purchased your product from and you can offer resale rights to your customers so they can sell more of your product for you. You pay your affiliates a commission for their work and they will continue to keep selling your product for you. You get to keep the Lion's share of the money made from the sale of your product and your customers get the tremendous benefit of your knowledge. It is truly a win-win situation. This is the best choice because you get to take advantage of the top two methods without risking the research time and effort that went into developing the original work that you duplicated. I'm not telling you to plagiarize the work of someone else here. I'm telling you that it's just as easy to find a hot product niche, find a good selling product, purchase it and rewrite the e-book in your own words. Put up a similar sales page as the original (rewrite it as well) and offer resale rights to your customers so they can share the wealth. You can even find products in some places where you can offer a grab-bag of information with private label rights so your customers can offer products of their own. This can optimize your efforts by essentially giving your customers that ability to distribute information as a freebie to entice future customers to your offer for affiliate sales.
