When many people think of Orlando, they automatically think of Disney World and
other Disney resorts. There are many other places to visit in Orlando that are
fun for the whole family. With the right hotel and Orlando transportation
choices, you can easily take in all that Orlando has to offer. Check out these
parks to make your Orlando vacation complete.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay is a wonderful wild animal, fun-filled time. Kids
love to see all the animals they see in books. They also learn about many other
different animals they have more than likely not come in contact with before.

For the adults, there are some great coasters that will get your heart pumping
and offer a ton of excitement and thrill. Like Disney, they also have shows.
These shows are usually located in a diner setting or along the walk ways.

Seaworld Orlando

Seaworld is an Orlando theme park that delves into the ocean and lets you see
what aquatic life is like. Not only will you get to see killer whales and
dolphins perform tricks at shows, you will also be able to see all the other
animals from the aquatic world, like penguins.

Seaworld also has some great rides to enjoy. They have an exciting roller
coaster called Kraken that takes you on an amazing ride. If you like coasters,
you can also go on the Manta which is also a great pick.

Kids will especially enjoy Shamu's Happy Harbor. This area is filled with many
great rides for the kids as well as sites to see. No trip is complete without
visiting Shamu! If you want further adventure, check out Aquatica or Discovery
Cove, right next to Seaworld.

Wet n' Wild

If you are looking for a great time at a water park, check out Wet and Wild.
This is an exciting water park that has been an Orlando feature for many years.
They have fast paced water slides as well as a calming lazy river. It is a nice
change up from the traditional park where you walk around all day. This gives
you an opportunity to float on by and enjoy Florida's sunny weather.

Cypress Gardens

Cypress Gardens was Florida's first official theme park. This park is lined
with beautiful botanic gardens that are absolutely breathtaking. You can see
them by foot or by boat. There are many live shows with singing and dancing
throughout the day. They boast over 8,000 different flowers and plants and have
a butterfly sanctuary as well as an aviary. It's a great way to spend a low key
day in Orlando.

Disney Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach

Disney has two water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, which are often
overlooked because of Disney's other popular parks. They each offer a unique
experience. Blizzard Beach has one of the World's tallest and fastest free
falling slides. The concept behind Blizzard Beach is a ski resort setting- in
Florida!

Typhoon Lagoon lets you snorkel with real sharks and also offers a surf pool.
The surf pool is what most people remember the most when they leave. You can
spend hours and hours in the surf pool and not even know it.

As you can see, Orlando is full of some great overlooked theme parks. These
hidden jewels are less crowded than some of the more popular parks and are
cheaper too.
