I can post daily everything I do on my blog and each time I do a post a lot of
directories are pinged. If Twitter is just another name for a blog then why use
the name Twtter? A more popular name could have been used like MickeyD's or
something rather than reivent the wheel and using a name that has no roots or
branding of any sort.. Is Starbucks going to rename themselves Moby Dick to try
to get more business? IIs Twitter just another blogging platform like Wordpress
or Blogger

When doing a search for Twtter apps 90% of them are mobile
apps for your cell phone or Blackberry. Even on Twtter's site a lot of their
apps are mobile apps. Mobile is not referring to applications for your laptop
or notebook. I was always told that people as they are shopping and discovering
new things would put this stuff into their cell phone and send a Tweet to
everybody on their list. If Twitter is just another application like email or
blogs then why do we have Twtter and why is it so popular?

If Twitter
is just another platform like that of Blogger then its popularity will only
last until another platform for blogs is created? I think we have enough
blogging platforms and we need something new. Do we need another StarBucks,
Jack In The Box, or McDonalds? I do think we need a cafe with the theme Gourmet
Coffee on a Budget. A lot of people can't see the logic in paying a few dollars
for a cup of gourmet coffee. At least McDonalds and Dukin Donuts have gourmet
coffee without the expensive price tag.

Maybe since everybody will die
someday we should have a McDonals funeral home for fast funerals. Maybe
T-Mobile will create T-Twitter. What about Apple coming out with I-Twitter?
ETwtter can be for desktop apps. The domains Tweetspace and others like
Tweetbook are already taken but there are still a lot out there that have not
been created yet.

My understanding of Twiiter is that it is the MySpace
or Facebook of mobile phones. Maybe someday we can have a mobile phone with a
built in Pacemaker device or what about an Insulin Pump? These days a Mystery
Shopper can input their results right into an Iphone with a mobile app. No
matter what we already have their is still a lot of room for new ideas and
apps. Another neat app that needs to be created is dating via something like
Twtter. The ability to find someone within a few blocks from where you are now.
They would probably name something like this GeoMobileDating.

The
popularity of Twitter is like that of what McDonalds used tbe when they too
were new. Nowadays we have many clones to McDonalds like Jack In The Box, and
Burger King and someday the same will happen to Twitter..
