Who says that women have to have all the fun when it comes to dressing up? Although men's and women's fashion can vary greatly there is an increasing trend of blurring the fashion styles of the two sexes. Most women have on more than one occasion delved into a guy's closet to borrow a jacket or sweater, but men, on the other hand, have been hard pressed to do the same. Some of the latest men's fashion trend may not meet the comfort level of every guy, but there are some changes occurring that have definitely brought in a breath of fresh air. And no longer do men have to be a metrosexual to add a bit of flair to their wardrobe. Celebrities like Kayne West, Brad Pitt, and David Beckham have brought a new sense of style to men's fashion and pushing the limits of what a 'real' man wears. If the latest men's fashion trends for 2009 and beyond are any indication there will be plenty of opportunities for women to return again and again to their boyfriend's/husband's drawers: Here are some of the latest men's fashion trends that are showing up on the runways and a street near you: V-neck sweater Men's v-neck sweaters have of late been designed with dangerously low-cut. Male runway models have been sporting them without a shirt underneath. However, it is a look that might prove very hard to pull off-unless that is you look like Brad Pitt. Men's Brooches Not sure if this trend started with the American Idol star, Adam Lambert but brooches for jackets and coats are big for the fall. They are, though, rather 'manly' and differ greatly from the ones your grandmother wears. There are many nautical and military themes to hang on the lapel. The Man Purse Although this has been around for more than a couple of seasons, it is still quite popular. Instead of stashing everything into a gym bag, some fashion conscious men are opting for leather or canvas over-the-shoulder bags. Scarves It seems like men have been released by the sentence of only wearing a gray wool scarf. Men's scarves are being designed in all types of fabric and colors and are worn with just as much flair as women. Great accessory to add some versatility to an everyday jacket or coat. Sunglasses The days when men owned one or two pair of sunglasses seem to be on the way out. There are many styles available for men, from aviator style worn in the latest James Bond movie, The Quantum of Solace to the horn-rimmed retro look like Tom Ford's latest collection. The bigger the better and more colorful are also fashionable options for men. Colors Although pink may not be the number one color of choice for most men, there are more options than blue and black. Men's shirts come in all colors of the rainbow. Some popular colors hot off the runway are purple, yellow, and warm fall colors of brown, rust, and red.
