------------------ ARTICLE START ------------------

If you've ever seen a really good movie, or read a really fascinating book, you
know how powerful a well-constructed story is.

The plot expands at just the right pace, the characters are revealed with just
enough clarity to keep your interest. The problems are presented just at the
right times to stretch the characters to their limits as they struggle to
overcome them.

This is what makes for wonderful fiction, whether it be in movies, or books, or
plays, or just stories told around the campfire after a hard day of hunting for
food, as our ancestors used to do.

If you've ever wondered what it takes to write a fascinating story, I've got a
secret for you. Although I should probably use a different word for secret,
since you probably already know this.

Because you are reading this you are smart enough to understand that there are
no "magic bullets" that will make all your troubles magically disappear and
make all you dreams come true in a poof of pixie dust.

The secret is this. In order to write a fascinating, breathtaking bestseller,
all you need to do is write. Everyday. Because the truth is that everybody has
the capability in them to tell a wonderful story. It is part of being human. It
is how we communicate. We use metaphors every day of our lives.

And what is a story? It is one big metaphor to help people vicariously overcome
their problems in their daily lives.

The Greeks called this catharsis. That is why we love stories and movies and
soap opera dramas so much. The structure of those stories matches our own daily
struggles. Because you are human with normal everyday struggles, you have
exactly the experience required to write a bestselling novel.

The only thing separating you from the people on the New York Times top ten
list is the simple action required to do so.

Write.

Every day.

Make it a habit, just like walking the dog or mowing the lawn on the weekends.
Every day. Once writing is an every day habit, success is inevitable. The only
way to stop your success is to stop writing. It's pretty simple, actually.

While you won't become successful in a couple weeks, if you keep writing, you
will get published. People will read your books. And people will want to read
more. So what do you think?

Are you ready to get started? Good. Here's to your success.

Taking the first step is sometimes the hardest for some. Because you can
imagine what it will be like when you become successful, you can take advantage
of this opportunity. You'll find out just how easy that is when you visit
