As an employer in these tough economic times it can be easy to forget employee
morale when you're worried about costs and creditors. But don't forget to take
a second look around at your hardworking staff and give a little reward back.
It doesn't mean you have to spend a lot for a pat on the back. Most people are
just thankful to be employed in this recession, but you can reward the team in
small ways to make them feel as important and appreciated as they really are.

A great way to boost morale (especially in the hot summer months) can be an ice
cream party. It's a cheap no-brainer way to add a little fun back into the
office. An ice cream party can be arranged in a snap without spending a lot of
dough, which of course is key at this point! It will make a summer where a lot
of people have foregone vacations and day trips to work and make ends meet seem
a little less dreary. Gathering together in the employee lounge or conference
room with some sundaes and a couple decorations to cheer up the muted colors of
the office world could be the perfect ending to a long week hiding in the
cubicles. It never hurts to reward your staff for a job well done, especially
when most employees are working for less with the knowledge that a raise freeze
may not be easing up in the near future.

Your local ice cream parlor can coordinate with your team to deliver a turnkey
sundae party to your business or an off-site location. It does not matter
whether your company has 25 or 2500 people.

The ice cream parlor will package up the ice cream and everything you need to
host a make-your-own sundae bar and deliver it to your venue. They will even
deliver the hot fudge, caramel, whipped cream, nuts and cherries with all of
the required accessories to scoop and serve the ice cream.

You can also choose to have you event staffed by professional scoopers or you
can use your own staff to man the different stations and scoop the ice cream
for you.

Throwing an ice cream party is easy, affordable and a great way to enjoy a
little summer with your staff, have some ice cream and for a few minutes just
relax and forget about the tough times that impact us all right now.
