------------------ ARTICLE START ------------------

Because you clicked on the title of this article, you are interested in
writing. You are interested in taking your creative ideas, forming them into a
beautifully cohesive union of words and sentences and paragraphs that will
capture and lead the imaginations of perhaps thousands of readers. Maybe
millions.

And you, like other people, may have something inside, maybe something vague,
maybe something specific; that you feel may be holding you back. Maybe you
don't think you have enough time. Maybe you don't think you have enough talent.
Maybe you don't think you have "the gift." Well, guess what? You have the time,
you have the talent, and you have the gift.

One of the biggest blocks to becoming a massively successful author is the idea
that your story is not important enough, or entertaining enough, or inspiring
enough. These deep subconscious beliefs are behind all those nagging words you
tell yourself when you sit down to write. Only by writing every day can you
quiet these incorrect voices once and for all.

Simply because you are reading this article, and not some article about how to
repair a TV set or how to improve your golf swing, you have the seed of what is
necessary to become a successful writer. I don't know where you are on your
journey; maybe you are already a seasoned writer having sold works for several
years. Maybe you are just starting. Maybe reading this article is the first in
a long series of ever increasing steps on a journey that will bring you
incredible rewards of creative expression.

One thing is for certain. In order to be a successful writer, you must write.
Every day. Write a blog, write articles for this website, write letters to the
editor of your local newspaper. Do whatever it takes, but write, and share you
writings with others. The reason for this is that you need to get used to the
idea of millions of people being able to read what you write.

For many the biggest block to success is not a fear of failure, but a fear of
success itself. Because with massive success that will eventually come your way
when you write and publish every day, comes attention from many people. And
that is terribly frightening to some. Almost as frightening as speaking in
public, or singing karaoke in a bar filled with strangers.

But the more you write and publish, the more you will get used to the idea, and
all your blocks to success will magically disappear. So get started, today.
Write something, and publish it somewhere. Here, your blog, any place is fine.
Just keep doing it, every day, and watch the magic happen.

Taking the first step is sometimes the hardest for some. Because you can
imagine what it will be like when you become successful, you can take advantage
of this opportunity. You'll find out just how easy that is when you visit
