------------------ ARTICLE START ------------------

There are two kinds of novelists out there. There are those that wish they
could write a novel, and only dream. Then there are people like you, that have
what it takes to write with the knowledge and self-belief and confidence that
your dreams will turn into reality as certainly as night will turn into day.

Because you are reading this article, you have chosen to take action towards
your goal of being a successful novelist. You have chosen to something specific
that will change your creative ideas into fascinating stories and characters
that will be read and enjoyed by thousands, and perhaps millions.

One of the biggest obstacles to realizing that success is the occurrence of
writers block. Some writers even refuse to say this, as if some evil genie will
pop out of the woodwork and curse them with a wicked hex, typing their fingers
into knots, and turning their brilliantly creative ideas of expression into
moldy puddles of peanut butter.

Of course there isn't any magical genie. There isn't any evil force that slips
in and disconnects your brains from your fingers. Just to make sure, as you are
reading this, reach up and scratch your nose. You can do that, right? Of course
you can. You are probably even telling yourself right now, "I know I can
scratch my nose whenever I want to. I don't need some stranger telling me to do
it over the Internet."

The biggest cause of writers block is the idea that everything that has to come
out of your brain onto the paper must be immediately worthy of a Nobel Prize,
or at least a favorable write up in Kirkus Reviews. Nothing could be further
from the truth. Think of yourself as a sculptor of words. Write five hundred
words a day for a couple of weeks, and then go back with your mental chisel and
take out all the junk, and rearrange all the good stuff.

You'll be amazed at what you have left over after only a few short weeks. If
you keep this up for a few months, you'll easily find yourself with a salable
manuscript. Put off any thoughts of "I don't know if anybody will read this,"
or any self-criticism you might have.

Leave that until later when you are assembling the blocks of your ideas into a
coherent story. Take as step back and look at it. Take it apart and put it back
together again. When you get rid of the myth of consistent perfection, you'll
be amazed at the wonderful creative stories you can come up with. Maybe not.
Maybe you are already aware of the amazing wonderful stories you can come up
with.

Because you can imagine what it will be like when you inevitably become
successful, you can naturally take advantage of this opportunity. Find out why
so many are discovering just how naturally powerful this is when you visit
