------------------ ARTICLE START ------------------

All of us see it, there are some people who seem to naturally stand out and get
noticed at work, while others who work just as hard rarely get recognized.
After examining many different work places and speaking with numerous people
that hold managerial positions, I have identified and am sharing with you the
top two things that you must do in order for you to be the person who gets
noticed at work.

Break Out Of A Following Mode

True success can only be achieved by breaking out of the following mode that
most of us are in every day of our lives, and moving into territory that no one
else has mapped out or formatted for us. This requires us to be independent
thinkers and to act independently of others in order to figure out how we can
move forward the money making essence of whatever business we are in.

Normally, people start off in this following mode at work, performing tasks
that were devised and implemented by managers and other people who hold
positions above them. However, as that person builds experience and widens
their knowledge base, he or she can and should start to formulate their own
independent actions that increase a company's efficiency and push forward it's
money making essence.

When this takes place, often a person can feel awkward because they have spent
a lifetime of always knowing what to do at work, they may even feel like they
are goofing off. These feels happen precisely because one is breaking out of
the following mode and into the independent, forward mode. No format exists for
them anymore to follow, and nobody else can show them what to do or how to act.

When a person first breaks out of their following mode at work, he or she may
feel like a prisoner who is suddenly set free. All of a sudden there is no
rigid, pre-set schedule telling them what they can and can not do. This frees
one to take independent, unstructured actions, and that is what will push a
person and his or her company forward into new realms of growth.

Increase Your Intensity

You can dramatically increae your productivity by increasing your intensity. A
great starting point is to begin walking faster at work. People with high
intensity usually walk fast.

Whether you're a janitor or one of the highest executives, the productive
effect of increasing personal intensity can not be overstated. A Person who
works at high intensity can increase his or her productivity not just
incrementally, but two-fold, five-fold, even ten-fold.

Increasing intensity is a matter of being aware of intensity and then working
to increase it both physically and mentally. There was a short story written
over 50 years ago titled "Calumet K" which shows the power of intensity.

In that story, a grain elevator had to be built in an unprecedented amount of
time the wheat market would be cornered by a group of speculators and as a
result many businesses would go belly up. Yet, all of the workers at the site
were seriously behind schedule. They took long breaks and even longer lunches,
they slogged around from station to station, and none of them had intensity.

Eventually, the company brought in an ace manager to try and fix the situation.
His name was Charlie Bannon. Bannon worked with a great deal of personal
intensity, and by leading by example this employees began working with
intensity as well. Within a week, everyone at the construction site no longer
walked. They took regular scheduled breaks, they were punctual when they cam
back from their lunches, and they simply ran to wherever they needed to go.

As a result of this great intensity exerted by Charlie Bannon and his workers,
that "Calumet K" grain elevator was built in record time, and as a result the
speculators failed to corner the wheat market.

Calumet K exemplified the power of intensity in the workplace. By simply
determining to exert high intensity, an individual as well as an entire company
can become an unstoppable dynamo.

Discover a way where you can implement these strategies to build an extremely
lucrative business for yourself with none of the overhead of traditional
business, and skyrocket your quality of life.
