------------------ ARTICLE START ------------------

We've all been there. Staring out the window from our little cubicle, cursing
our boss and wondering why we can't work for ourselves. Heck that guy our
friend knows...he works at home, why can't we? Well, what does that guy even
do, anyway? What kind of options are there to work at home? Here are a few ways
that anyone can work at home:

Be a freelancer-

Freelancing is a great way to get your feet wet while making some real cash.
There are many different websites out there for people seeking freelance work
in various fields. Elance, Guru, Rentacoder...the list goes on. You don't have
to be a computer genius to do this either. If you have technical skills
already- great! If not, don't worry...you ARE good at something, and probably
many things.

Start where you're comfortable, and then as you build a reputation and some
confidence, branch out and take on new challenges. The key will be to be prompt
and well spoken with your communication to potential employers. There a plenty
of options from web design, transcription, virtual assisting, etc...There are
so many facets of freelancing that you can take advantage of. All of the
freelancing sites how ample how to's and tutorials to make sure you succeed, so
be sure to utilize those to the fullest.

Internet Marketing-

Internet marketing might sound foreign and daunting, but it's pretty easy
actually. Just set yourself up a free affiliate account with Clickbank or a
similar provider and start making commission for selling other people's wares.
Alright, that might be oversimplifying it a tad, but it's not far off. You'll
need a landing page on a website or you can use a free blog to drive potential
customers to your affiliate links. Better yet, market your own product. Write
an ebook, or hash out your ideas for a seminar...get your creative juices
flowing. The options are endless.

Being a Writer-

The internet is overflowing with websites that need good content. Many site
owners pay good money for content writers, and you bet they'll pay you if you
can write worth a lick. You can also write a blog and attract visitors with
articles that you write. Write something interesting enough, and they'll
bookmark you and check back often for what you've got to say.

So, as you can see there are many different paths for you to take for your
dream of work at home self employment. That first step is the hardest and most
valuable one you'll take.
