==================================================================== Article Content: To improve any of your drawings, you'll need to understand and make estimation about this drawing first. It can be incredibly challenging to be objective about your own drawing as it is often difficult to see the faults in a drawing you have been looking at for hours. If you had seen the faults earlier, you would have fixed them! It is therefore not advisable to try to evaluate a drawing quickly after you have finished it or while it is right in front of you. Arise, explore, drink a cup of coffee and then go back and look at it and check if you find something new. Try keeping your drawing away for some weeks or even months and then come back and give it a glance. Reflect about why you draw. What is the definition of a good drawing for you? Must it be rational to be good? Or could a drawing that aided you to get rid of some angst also be a 'decent' drawing? If you deem as though a drawing just is not creating visual impact then review the rules of composition (for example) and check if there is something you might have overlooked that could be the solution to a good drawing. You can also be experienced if you evaluate your own drawings by asking experienced persons whom you believe to be truthful to assess your drawings. See how their remarks match with your thoughts and ask about areas in your drawings that you are unsure about and then take their advice. There are some things you should specifically look at to find ways for improvising an existing drawing. You can be definite that the sections of your page not covered in drawing are sparkling and free of smudge. You can remove any blotches with a putty rubber ( also called as kneadable eraser). If the composition can be improved by cropping a little (only a little) on one side then try that. If your drawing is too dark and isn't showing a wide range of tones then try making out some highlights by means of your putty eraser. If your sketch is very light then try adding some extra shading. In an ideal situation, you will notice that your drawing is next to perfect and does not require any perfection at all. Then again, if you have a massive list of things at the end you would need to make changes for your drawing improvement … then, please: Start once more... Honestly, that is probably the most advisable approach you could do as your first drawing will then be deemed as a trial run and your II (or III or IV) picture is almost assured to be much superior. So follow these guidelines and the collection of your drawings will not only increase vastly in quantity but also in quality. And also do not forget to keep your drawings stored in a place that is dry, dark and without much dust. This will make sure you will enjoy your drawings for a long time. ==================================================================== Author Biography: Want to have fun again and get more <a href="http://drawingsecrets.com/drawing-instructions/drawing-instructions/these-drawing-instructions--drawing-tips-help-you-improve-any-picture.html">drawing instruction</a>?
