This is an easy way to explain the role of free soccer drills to the
players. Rules are followed. The drills can be formulated by you
since you are the coach, the drills.

Have an open mind to tweak the existing soccer exercises and
alter them to suit your requirements. Here are some of the tips
that can help you accomplish a creative soccer training program.

Your plan should be accommodative. Not every plan will materialize
as planned. The kids will be absent only when it rains or get sick.
All the potential obstructers are listed ensure they are handled
properly.

It works well to have several soccer practice games ready. If there
is any hiccup in execution of the plan remove it and proceed to the
next agenda. Go through the motions and you can figure out what
works best with the kids.

All the kids should warm up before any practice session. The kids
should use the soccer ball apart from using regular soccer skills to
warm up their body. The kids can rotate the ball between their
feet’s; kick the ball back and forth using their feet.

The free soccer drills used for warming up are designed with a fun
element and are available in plenty.

Each player has access to one soccer ball at least. Now devise
several individual activities that they can perform using the ball.
The players should practice shooting, dribbling and hitting the ball
against the wall etc. In order to prevent any restriction in
movement of the players avoid using any lines or marks.

Ensure the players are part of some group activities during soccer
coaching upon completion of the individual activities. The drills like
passing and receiving the balls are lot of fun. Without a goal
keeper the kids should play soccer in teams. The players should be
allowed to hit the goals without setting them any boundaries.

Also, teach them to first attack and then defend. This will lead the
players to hone their own individualistic skills.

During this drill groups of teams should be formed by the players.
Generally the kids will require some time to adjust to the concept
of team play while shifting from individual to group activities. The
nature of interaction between coach and the players should be
that of guidance only.

Make them realize the concept of interdependence to win matches.
The drill ingrains the knowledge of playing as a group without
doing much with the ball and to practice in a limited area.

This is the easiest way to conduct a soccer exercise. Have an open
idea to mix and add couple of free soccer drills that you think will
make the kids learn soccer better.
