Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) or Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction
Syndrome (CFIDS) has the following signs and symptoms: fatigue, weakness,
muscle and joint pain, headache, memory and concentration difficulties, and
difficulty sleeping. It seems to be caused by so many factors. Hence, the
person suffering may not be able to point out a single cause at all.

Chronic fatigue can be very harmful and disruptive of life. Medical
intervention is necessary in order to deal with the syndrome. Psychotherapy can
help a person deal with the problems involved with the disorder. Further,
guided imagery and hypnosis can help a person fight off panic and depression.

One of the ways to fight off chronic fatigue is through the practice of Qi
Gong. What is Qi Gong? It is a Chinese system of practices that is used by a
certain Chinese elite to help fight off disease and other bodily disorders.
More than that, it claims to create balance in your life, and help you benefit
spiritually and psychologically. Through simple movements and instructions, you
can take away stress, pain and feelings of sickness, even in ways that are
faster than you might anticipate.

Qi Gong is especially helpful for chronic fatigue syndrome sufferers. The
meditative parts can induce certain emotional and psychological states that
promote a sense of balance. The sufferer can therefore concentrate on making
the pain less painful, less perceptible and more tolerable to bear with. Qi
gong is especially known for making migraine headaches disappear. One reason
for this is the emphasis of the Qi gong practice on breathing exercises.
Sometimes, the body simply needs to retune itself through proper breathing.
Wrong breathing practices can especially induce forms of headache.

So if you think you are a candidate for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, think about
trying out Qi Gong. Note that one can misidentify the following with Chronic
Fatigue Syndrome. Check this list of other disorders: early menopause,
hypothyroidism, Lyme disease, Morgellons disease, Obstructive Sleep Apnea
(OSA), parasites, shiftlag, and Vibroacoustic Disease (VAD). Take note also of
these conditions that can cause one to feel fatigued: anemia, altitude
sickness, and dehydration. But before trying out Qi Gong or any other related
practice, be sure to discuss with your doctor first if any of the conditions
mentioned above apply to you. The deadly truth about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
is that you may find it hard to establish a real cause. If you have this, you
must simply accept it as it is, let go, and then move on.
