To get your creative juices flowing, here are some ideas: ~ For little girls: mittens, hats, scarves, stuffed toys, purses, sweaters, dresses, ponchos, slippers & socks, jewelry, bookmarks ~ For little boys: mittens, hats, scarves, stuffed toys, sweaters, vests, bookmarks, slippers, socks ~ For ladies: mittens, hats, scarves, sweaters, tops, shawls, ponchos, potholders, jewelry, purses, dresses, skirts, bookmarks, fridgies, curtains, rugs, doilies, baskets, tea cozies ~ For men: tops, sweaters, ties, vests, jackets, hats, scarves, mittens, bookmarks, slippers, socks ~ For decoration or gifts: various tree ornaments, tree skirts, Santas & Mrs. Claus, snowmen, angels, snowflakes, stockings, gift bags With each of these ideas, you can personalize the gift by making it with the person's favorite colors! Crocheting smaller items like mittens, hats, slippers, potholders and bookmarks will allow you to complete more gifts. Afghans make wonderful gifts, but take time to make, so you're better off beginning them long before Christmas. If you don't crochet, please don't be intimidated to learn; there are many great books out there that will teach you how step by step. It really is not hard to learn this valuable fun craft!
