Birders, The annual Rathbun Summer Resident Bird Count will be held this Saturday the 13th of June. We invite any birders to join us on this fun count. We cover most of Appanoose and parts of Monroe, Wayne and Lucas counties. We meet in Centerville for compilation at Lelah Bradley Park shelter house at 1:00 PM.
Some of go all day long, so you can bird anytime that day from a few hours or many. There is a good chance for Black-billed Cuckoo, both Tanagers, Blue-winged Warbler, Prothonotary Warbler, Bell's Vireo,and Henslow's Sparrow.
