Lots of pent-up migration energy released last night! I was also outside around 12:30 with similar observations. At 5:15 this morning, things were slightly different: still hundreds of calls in an hour, but many thrush calls seemed to be coming from the periphery of my listening area (already grounded for the day?), with far fewer notably passing overhead.

Now will Broadwings follow the thrush lead today?

I was out from about 1150-1220. I lost count after about 240 Swainson's
Thrushes (easy over 100 in each of the first and last 10 minutes I was
outside), counted 16 Veeries, and tallied only a single Gray-cheeked Thrush. A
few other migrants were moving as well.
