Birders,
Rob Thelen just brought me a barn owl that I presume was catching/feeding on a 
little critter on an exposed road shoulder.  It's pretty messed up, but I will 
attempt to salvage any parts I can.  The bird was found near Arcadia in western 
Carroll County.  
It's starting to seem as if there is a fairly decent population of barn owls in 
the county, between confimed annual sightings, road-kills, and injured birds.
January 3 is the Carroll CBC, come over and help out, maybe even find a barn 
owl......
