I traveled a few of the back roads near my house this morning. Found
several small flocks of Lapland Longspurs and Horned Larks. I saw 7 flocks
of 10-20 birds. Most were Longspurs.
At my feeders the Cowbird from yesterday brought a friend- I now have 2
Cowbirds and a Rusty Blackbird, all spending most of the day ground feeding.
