Birds of interest today were a Gadwall and a female Ring-necked Duck by the Water Treatment Plant in the southeast part of Mason City. There was a N. Shrike on the Claybanks Road, literally. Cooper's Hawk, Bald Eagle, Turkeys and Amer. Tree Sparrows were about, also, and the weather was nice!! Much of the river has opened up with the rains we have had.
An American Black Duck was at the opening in the river at East Park this past week.
