Sandy and I just returned from an Exploritas, formerly Elderhostel,
birding program in Costa Rica. We had 11 days of birding while traveling to 5
different lodges around the country. Highlights were seeing both Red and Great
Green Macaws, 3 days of seeing a pair nesting Resplendent Quetzals, 16
different Hummingbirds, 24 flycatchers, and many others. Our guide said the
first day that he hoped to have 300 species during the trip and we got to
289.

If any one is interested in a brand new copy "A Guide To The Birds of
Costa Rica" by Stiles and Skutch contact me off line. We have an extra one.
