IA Birders:
This afternoon one brightly colored European Goldfinch visited our
bird feeder three times before a Red-winged Blackbird came to the same
feeder.
My wife Betty took several photos of the EUGO. We watched for about
an hour for the new visitor to return, but never saw it again.
It wasn't a lifer, but it was a very exciting and welcome guest for
this side of the Atlantic Ocean!!
