Today a good spot in the vicinity of Cone Marsh was
the field along the east side of Atwood Ave. at its G28
intersection. Birds there included:
24 Brewer's Blackbirds--on both sides of Atwood.
4 Rusty Blackbirds--west side.
100 American Pipits
2 Lapland Longspurs
8 Pectoral Sandpipers
Cone Marsh had a good selection of ducks with a
few Blue-winged Teal showing up. G.White-fronted
Geese were still numerous but hard to see in the
brown vegetation.
