Yesterday (Saturday 4-3-10) I visited a marsh area near the Boone and Hamilton County line. I observed a Sandhill Crane flying over and land at the marsh. The marsh is located in Boone County. The crane walked around and eventually flew atop a muskrat house. I was able to get some very good images of it in the early morning lite. The land owner arrived in time to enjoy the sight with us.
