Sunday, 4 Apr 2010, late afternoon a trio followed about 5 minutes later of Sandhill Cranes flew over our property which is located between Kettleson Marsh and Cooper Marsh (Story County, Milford Township).

I observed a Sandhill Crane flying over and land at the marsh. The marsh is located in Boone County. The crane walked around and eventually flew atop a muskrat house. I was able to get some very good images of it in the early morning lite. The land owner arrived in time to enjoy the sight with us.
