The population is as high as I can remember seeing it at the Waterman Creek
rookery.  We counted a high of 64 birds.  We've had high numbers before
(just not this many) in years past but they seem to decline once a few high
winds and storms pass through during these weeks.  A relentless 30mph+ wind
today is being tolerated fairly well.

Also had a male Yellow-headed Black Bird at the feeders ...keeping company
with many Red-winged Black Birds and Common Grackles.
