A Rock Wren was reported from Linn County in 1986, back when
I was in elementary school. IBL 57:61.

Aaron's photos are now available at
http://www.iowabirds.org/rarebirds/default.asp. Nice bird! I am going to
have to do some research to see if this is the furthest east in Iowa we
have
had one.

We are in northern Bremer county, and there is a Rock Wren building a nest
in our barn's foundation.
Just looking for feedback on how rare this bird is in Iowa. Thanks.
