I birded my way to the Missouri River and back today.  It was rather  birdy 
this morning but died down considerably after lunch.  Some  highlights...
 
Audubon Co. (Littlefield RA):
- 8 shorebird species  
- 11 warbler species (inc. Golden-winged, Blackpoll)
- 1 Loggerhead Shrike along Pheasant Place
 
Shelby Co. (Elk Horn Creek RA):
- 13 warbler species (inc. Blackburnian)
- 1 Veery
- 1 Wild Turkey (dead in the back of Steve's car)
 
Harrison Co.:
- 1 Upland Sandpiper in the Missouri Valley area
 
Pottawattamie Co. (MidAmerican settling ponds):
- no Least Terns yet but there was 1 Caspian and 7 Forster's present
- 24 Franklin's Gulls
- 1 Black-bellied and 5 Piping Plovers
- 1 Cattle Egret and 1 Upland Sandpiper along Hwy 92
- 1 Loggerhead Shrike along 350th St.
 
Also got my FOY Dickcissel in Adair Co.
