Hello Birders, I got a report of a Little Blue Heron at Luton WMA S today. I went down there and found out that it had flown back where it wasn't visible from the road so I walked in and was fortunate enough to have lots of great looks at it. A very beautiful bird indeed and a lifer! Also seen at Luton WMA S were 10 Hudsonian Godwit and two Black-crowned Night-Heron. I will post a link to a photo of the heron later tonight.
Jerry von Ehwegen later told me that at the Dairy Ponds he had a Ruddy Turnstone. Jerry also had a Western Grebe at Sandhill Lake on Saturday but I couldn't refind it the day after.
