100s of swallows still on the main channel by Credit I. Park. Purple Martins joined the fray today.
Black Terns again. Common and/or Forster's Terns showed up today. A Willet on the shore gave a nice view 75 feet away . Swallows were thick over the river as far as the eye could see at least a quarter mile up and downstream of me. Mostly Barn, Bank and Tree. Some Cliff. Didn't see any N. Rough-winged but there must have been a few. Many swallows landed on a sandy shore 100 feet away where I got a nice view of the Bank breastband for a change.
