During the June 17 Des Moines Audubon field trip at Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt in NE Polk County, we had a wonderful encounter with a Prothonotary Warbler that sat just above us while we were sitting at the picnic table by the oxbow. We also heard two others singing before we left--one east of the flooded campground and one toward the direction of the old bridge pictured on the IOU webpage.
