Birders,

The NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was still present at Rapp Park north of
Shenandoah. Likewise, the WHITE-WINGED DOVES (at least 1 adult + 2
chicks) were still present in Shenandoah.

Other highlights from W/SW Iowa included:

Chuck-will's-widow - Near Waubonsie State Park
Least Tern (20+) - Midamerican Electric in Council Bluffs
Forster's Tern (4)- Fremont and Mills county
Black Tern (6) - Fremont county
Cattle Egret (200+) - Near Forney Lake

Lastly, I came across the following while working BBA blocks in Fremont county:

Blue Grosbeak (3)
Loggerhead Shrike (5)
Black-billed Cuckoo (1)

Good birding,
Cory Gregory
