Early in the morning I relocated the RED KNOT and its companions, the         
                                                                                
     BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS (5), at the Hawkeye Wildlife Area. But this time
they were closer to the north shore and I scoped them from the DNR
parking lot on Amana Rd. Later in the day these shorebirds were absent
but  a SANDERLING was working that shoreline. Sand Point was really poor
for shorebirds today.
