You still have the opportunity to express your thoughts on the eight
authorized purposes of the Mo River and how the MRAPS process should
proceed. It's critically important that the COE hear from you. This is
the first opportunity to affect change on the Mo. River and have the
Missouri River managed in a more fish and wildlife and environmentally
friendly way that will also benefit recreation and people throughout the
basin. Go to: http://www.mraps.org http://www.mraps.org comments will
be accepted through September 20th. The survey only takes a few minutes
to complete and your comments to the COE are very important. We need to
take advantage of this opportunity as a waterfowling community.

Pure and simple. If you want to see more habitat restored along one of
our historical migratory corridors now is the Time to speak up and speak
loudly!

Again pass this on to your friends and family. EAVERYONES HELP IS NEEDED
HERE TO RESTORE VITAL HABITAT THAT HAS BEEN LOST.

Some wish to keep barge navigation as top priority but if you look at the
facts the industry has not materialized as some thought it would. As an
example, in the last 7 years 1 barge has come up river into Iowa. 1 should
we allow navigation to be a priority that it isnt and yet still negatively
effect 188k acres of lost habitat?

Hundreds of migratory species have been negatively effected by past
management and hundreds of native species have been impacted by past
management OF NAVIGATION.

It is time to take back and restore our River and the associated habitats
that have long since been lost. Make no mistake your help and support is
very vital. Take the time and respond to the COE survey on the management.

Again I thank you all for your time and your support IN RESTORING OUR
GREAT RIVER!

Bill
