Very fallish at Smith WA, south of Algona, Kossuth Co. this morning:
12 Hermit Thrushes
7 Winter Wrens
6 Fox Sparrows
5 Brown Creepers
3 Nashville Warblers, including one who's insistently tail-wagging
behavior stood out sharply from the other two in the same feeding flock
1 Gray-cheeked Thrush feeding with some of the Hermits in Buckthorn
and more kinglets than I saw all of last April
