Today there was a basic Red Phalarope at Rock Creek State Park. It was
in the shallows on the north side of the F27 bridge, between the park's
entrances. Several Killdeer and Wilson's Snipe were keeping it company.

I continued on to Lake Red Rock which is now drawn down but is still a
large body of water. Gull numbers weren't impressive at midday and I only
saw one raft of mixed diving ducks. There were lots of cormorants and
pelicans but I didn't see any notable birds.
