Bird behavior has always fascinated me.  A recent paper in a scientific journal discuss Great Bowerbirds' us of forced perspective, arranging the paving of their display courts, at the end of their bowers so as to make themselves appear larger.

PBS had a show on Nature called, A Murder of Crows.  I missed this when it was on the first time --- I think it was after the recent IOU.  On another listserve, I found a link to the show:   http://video.pbs.org/video/1621910826
