Bill Scheible and I finally made the trip over to Des Moines this afternoon. We arrived at approximately 2:45 p.m. and found the bird very quickly. It was perched in the lilac bushes previously described at the back corner of the yard. We stayed watching the bird for about twenty minutes. The bird never left its perch while we were there.
