If Dove hunting is implemented there may be fewer hunters to buy licenses. Some knowledgeable hunters call Morning Doves Devil Birds. This is because of the dove's fast erratic flight and tendencies to fly between hunters when flushed. Not so dangerous is hunting doves in arid regions near water hole flyways.
