I made a couple trips to Greenvalley Lake near Creston, Iowa on Sunday and
today. I found 15 waterfowl species:

Canada Geese
Greater White-fronted Geese
Snow Geese
Cackling Geese
Mallard
Wood Duck
Ring-billed Duck
American Widgeon
Northern Shoveler
Lesser Scaup
Greater Scaup
Redhead
Canvasback
Gadwall
Hooded Merganser

and about 10 Killdeer

Also in Rural Southern Adams County I found a flock of 250 blackbirds. The
vast majority of the flock was comprised of Red-winged Blackbirds, however
I found about 10 each of Rusty Blackbirds and Brown-headed Cowbirds. A
flock of 15 meadowlarks wasn't far from there either.
