A week did not change the open water much off of Jester at the N. end of
Saylorville, but the numbers of birds (not species) had increased. About
3,200 Canada Geese with a handfull of Cacklers, and about 5,000 Mallards,
with a few Pintail, C. Mergs and Golden-eye sprinkled in.
A lone Siskin has been at our feeder.
