Three Ankeny birders viewed a nice assortment of ducks at the Bob Shetler ponds
below the Saylorville dam on 3/9/11 - - Canvasbacks, redheads, mallards,
gadwall, Amer. wigeon, lesser scaups, ring-necked ducks, blue-winged teal,
common goldeneyes, and a pair of common mergansers above the dam. Carol
